therapy that gets you to where you want to be

from point a

Being “stuck” has become the norm. The messiness of life can leave you uncertain of how to move forward, or if it’s even possible. The life you imagined for yourself, is not the life you seem to have ended up with, but you can’t help feeling like it’s still possible to be who and what you’ve always hoped to be.

If only you could find your way back.

At point b therapy, you can find a steady, compassionate space to re-write and re-map the story of your own life, build resilience, and help you move toward meaningful, lasting change.

helping you arrive

to your own point b.

What does it mean to arrive?

It’s easy to confuse a desired point of destination with a long hoped for aspiration of who you want to be. Sometimes we “arrive” but not as the person we hoped we would be. Sometimes that crossed finish line keeps stretching long past the point we thought we’d be done, and chasing after it proves to be bone-deep exhausting, and never-ending.

At point b therapy, your “point b”, can stop being an external destination, and begin to be the starting point of confidently arriving at your own sense of self, and who you really are outside of what everyone else has ever told you, you were, or could ever be.

Together, we’ll focus on helping you gather your bearings, and realigning in the direction of your hopes, your dreams, and your heart’s calling. Helping you get unstuck from the messiness and confusion of life, quietening the noise that makes listening to your own internal guidance daunting, and equipping you with all the accoutrements you need to carry on that journey with renewed confidence and self-mastery long after our time working together.

What does it mean to really be?

Common questions

Starting therapy can bring up a lot of questions. Here are a few common ones to help you get oriented.

Do you offer virtual therapy?

Yes. Virtual sessions can provide flexible, accessible support for clients across the states of California and Colorado. Teletherapy at point b therapy is provided through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. While Teletherapy may not be suitable for all, the integrity of care and potential benefit remains the same as in-person therapy sessions.

who do you work with?

At point b therapy I provide individual and family therapy for all residents of the states of California and Colorado. I work with anyone from ages 9-99, in all manner of life transitions. I specialize in psychedelic-assisted therapies, grief, substance abuse, women’s issues, and supporting anyone who might just feel “stuck”.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply want support, therapy may be a helpful next step, to help you get free from your point a, and on-track to your point b.

What is the first session like?

The groundwork of the First Session is actually laid out during our free 20-min virtual consultation together. During that conversation, we have already gotten the chance to get to know one another and you’ve already shared a bit about what you’re hoping to work on or feel stuck with. Our First Session will be getting the lay of the land, and figuring out together how to get you to your own point b.

When Will I Start To Feel Better?

Every path forward is as unique as the individual. While there is no predetermined timeline for healing or recovery, people just like you, can utilize therapy from as little as a few sessions to years-long work, depending on what support they need, what life events arise, and their therapeutic intentions. Oftentimes with therapy getting out, means getting through. So your path to point b may look and feel challenging, but you won’t be undertaking that venture alone.
